Alongside our other collections which are associated with the historic activities of Methodist churches and individuals, primarily in Britain, we also care for a series of items owned by the Church directly.
This collection comprises:
- MCB 1: The glass plate negatives produced by Nehemiah Curnock when he was creating his edition of John Wesley’s Journal
- MCB 2: Methodist Church Art Collection – primarily a series of photographs and original works produced by, or for, the Methodist Missionary Society. They were previously housed or displayed at Methodist Church House, 25 Marylebone Road.
- MCB 3: Printed Items transferred from 25 Marylebone Road (2024/25)
- MCB 4: Circuit Plans produced after 1933
- MCB 5: Material published by The Methodist Church
- MCB 6: Material published by The Methodist Church (Faith, Worship, Prayer & Reflection)
